The smarm factor when a Republican posts on here

Jumps about 20 points...then when Little Mac posts it triples.

I wonder what the smarm factor is for someone who uses the word smarm.

I tend to agree with the Republican side, but right now it's not a smarm factor, but more of a D'oh factor for voting for that dolt!  Luckily, I only voted for him during the first election.  I learned my lesson, once bitten, twice shy!

Doesn't the condescending thread title infer that the original poster is a smarmy pretentious asswipe?

Isn't that in your job description? I know it's in mine.

    Contractors love me.

You're getting involved in construction inspection?  or construction contract administration?

If inspection, you haven't completed your daily tasks until the foreman throws his hard hat on the ground and kicks it while muttering what a f*cking asshole you are.

If contract administration, your job's not done until you've done two things:

    1) You must make the contractors superintendent or project manager threaten to have the lowboy show up and pull every piece of equipment off the job, and

    2) You then point out the clause in the general conditions stating that he's contractually obligated to make continuous progress towards meeting the project completion dates, and if he follows through with his threat you'll have no choice but to terminate the contract.  If the owner/president from the contractor (for a small/mid size construction company) or lawyer (for the big hitters) doesn't contact you by the end of the next business day, you simply haven't tried hard enough.

Funny I feel the same way when Dems speak about their fairy tale ideas for the country and how we're all going to hold hands while we ride our bikes to work.

Problem with that happy idea is that Dems didnt think it out, big picture and forgot not everybody works the same hours, so we all cant hold hands together when we ride our bikes to work. Or for some folks have our wife drive us to work.

"for real though" I take it to a holenova level!
