    So you're saying there's a chance....

The wolves have 4 first round picks next year, 2 of them are protected?

If that's the case.....they're trading a couple of them and a player (McCants) for a PG.

I like what McHale is doing.....major overhaul.

Raymond Felton makes too much sense for both McHale and MJ to agree to it.

If we have 4 1st round picks, how many of them would you give up to get Ricky Rubio?

Agreed, though. I'm liking this, actually.
    Now praying harder than ever.

I would love to get Raymond Felton.  Did you just throw that name out there or have you heard rumors?  I am all for giving Rodney Carney a chance and shipping out Mccants.

Truthfully, probably all of them and probably stuff we don't have unless we luck out in the lottery.

Out. Be back in 10 minutes, or when the season starts, or not at all.....who knows?

Well the bobcats drafted D.J. Augustine with a Top-10 pick. That's pretty indicative that they might be done with Felton. Also, Rashad has a lot of ties to Charlotte--MJ went to UNC along with a bunch of Bobcat players, and Charlotte is in UNC's backyard. The only problem is, Charlotte doesn't need a shooting guard--they already have J-Rich.

I would give them a call.  Felton is a UNC guy also, so he probably doesn't want to leave.  I think he would be a nice fit with the wolves.

Maybe Charlotte and Michael are being completely loyal to Felton. Maybe the now BRILLIANT Banana Hibbing Doofus promised them a late round number 1 and McCants for Augustin before the draft.

It still seems weird that they drafted him...

    Re: So you're saying there's a chance....

I've looked at sending McCants to CHA many times because of the fit.  McCants, Felton and May all had their numbers retired by UNC.

The problem though is that if McCants doesn't like being a sixth man here, he'd hate being a seventh man there.  The Bob's plunked a lot of money and a lottery pick into adding Jason Richardson, Matt Carroll's deal runs through 2013, and they still hope that lottery pick Adam Morrison will become something.

Maybe this could work as a three-team deal, but Charlotte's got no room for McCants.

Charlotte is going to have a test of wills- throw two young points at Larry Brown and see who survives.

More than likely it is Lowry we pry away from Memphis- he's a tough kid, and a nice defender.

I'd be cool with that. What would we have to give up? Memphis wouldn't want Carney...they have Rudy, and I don't think he'd be that big of a draw there despite his roots. Number 1 pick ?? Memphis is supposedly sick of spending money on kids too...they supposedly blew their final wad (sorry Lanthanum) on Mayo and his potential big money.

Fine...we'll give them Mad Dog and our other 2 we got from Miami...

I actually think the PERFECT place for McCants would be New Orleans. He's already an upgrade offensively over Morris Peterson, he could score 20 points just sitting pack and launching open 3's from a Chris Paul, and something tells me he'd play more defense if his team was competing every night and Byron Scott was in his ear. He'd make the perfect 2-guard to pair with Chris Paul for the next 6-8 years.

I would trade McCants for Julian Wright and Hilton Armstrong in a heartbeat.
