    Defenition

    Someone help me out here,

how exactly does a trade exception work?  how can we trade $$$, and why isn't it just called "Buying" a player?  do trade exceptions expire?  I remember we got one in the Wally trade, I just don't know what it means.

Any great slary cap minds out there?

traded player exceptions are created when trades occur.  The team that trades for the smaller amount of total salary also receives a TPE that exactly balances the traded salaries.

So if you trade an $8 million for a $10 million player, the team that receives the $8 million player also receives a $2 million TPE.

If a shooter gets fouled while shooting is it a shot attempt?
