Hopefully our roll doesn't end here.  We face three solid pitchers, but that hasn't been a problem for us in the past few weeks.  If the Twins can take 2 out of 3 here i'll be pretty happy.

Tonight along with the series is about as big as a game/series in early July can be. We still haven't proven during our run that we can win on the road. The Padres are nothing and it should've been as easy as it was to sweep them. The BoSox are legit at Fenway and to win this series would be tremendous going into Detroit and into the All-Star-Break. The ChiSox aren't playing today and this is a good time to start creeping up on them a 1/2 game further. With the confidence of this ballclub already sky-high, to win at Fenway two or three times would make them feel virtually unbeatable.

Let's make it six straight, 17 of 19, and/or 19 of 22 tonight in front of a national audience.

I hope Gardy was watching the Red Sox last night scouting them for this series because he would have seen something that I think we all agree he should do and that is when the game was tied in the ninth he brought in his closer and when it was still tied in the the tenth he brought in HIS CLOSER?!?!?! AGAIN?!?!

Seriously though, I like Gardy but I think that was a great move last night to leave Mo in and I hope Gardy sees that and might start using Joe the same way, after all how much younger is Joe vs Mo?

No chance of Nathan getting used that much.  After all, there is a long ways to go.  You want a fresh Nathan down the stretch, so he can be lights out.

I like that lineup-I think its the best we got right now at each position.  I like the speed at 1-2-9.  I like Monroe being available as a  pitch hitter with some pop.  I like Punto's defense.  I like that it is on ESPN since I dont get the Twins as my local team on FSN.  I think Baker is our #1.  I would be happy with a .500 road trip before the All Star break. This is an exciting time- I hope it last. Go Twins!

I am fine with Punto, I'd like to see Delmon on the bench, but until Cuddy is back that isn't a great option.  Delmon might make a fool of himself in that outfield tonight.
