Finley=gone (he went through the motions today like no one else)

Duncan=stay

Bina, Lammy, Radke, Captian Kaip gone due to graduation.  No one can fill in Oshie's roll.  No one can fill in Lammy's regular season roll, but my mom could stand in for him post-season.

Nobody has brought it up now have they?Thanks for doing it for us.And you say what have the SIOUX done lately?Check your team history first before ya come bashing on the SIOUX.Sure it sucks being a SIOUX fan when they can't bring the big prize home and especially after last nites total lack of effort performance.I really thought this was the year for them to get it done but f**k no.Next year I don't expect them to be back but who knows maybe with the expectations lower for us fans they will surprise us.Not holding my breath though.

Well, the Sioux did get to the Frozen Four again.  As a Husky fan, I've been drooling to get to that spot for years...I'd have been elated for my Husky squad to end the season where the Sioux did.

A: My game plan was to play fast, really skate and play on the offense. I don’t think we did any of those three things. They came out and they were pushing us back, which is the opposite of we want to do.

 

Q: Was it their speed, their finishing ability?

A: It was a combination of a lot of different things. A little too many turnovers, and they capitalized on a lot of plays that they had. It’s tough to come back when the other team just keeps scoring ... This team built an identity and I think that identity is going to carry on into next year. That’s hard work, that’s Fighting Sioux hockey, which is never giving up. I think this loss is going to sit with us all summer and make us that much more hungry next year.

Never giving up??? Oshie your entire team gave up after the 1st period and did not even show up for the 2nd period and 3rd period.  For crying out loud you were lucky Jerry York actually has some class and took his foot of the gas pedal.  Hell they could have put up 10-12 goals on the Floppin Frenchman  if they wanted.

Don't give me this "never give up because Fighting Sioux hockey is about Pride and heart and passion and blah blah blah blah blah". That is entirely Bullchit.  Und got their ass-handed to them six ways to sunday on national television.
