3) reconsider your belief system by analyzing the wide gammut of world religions, cults and variants of scientific though and come up something on your own accord

You are aware that the "study" of theology is utterly worthless, right? I mean, everything gained from dissecting your holy book is tainted because it wasn't even written by people who had firsthand knowledge of the guy they wrote about and we don't even know who these writers were.

But hey, have fun basing your life on a bunch of superstitions and recycled pagan messiah-myths. You don't think any single part of the Jesus Christ story wasn't already a part of Mediterranean Hellenistic religions, do you? The virgin birth foretold in prophecy, the child of God, the miracles, the martyred death, the resurrection.... none of that stuff was new to Christianity. Do yourself a favor and read up on Dionysus, Krishna, Attis, Osiris, and Mithras and then take a look at the religion you're a part of because you were born into it. Try to find one aspect of Christianity that wasn't already in another religion.

I had to respond after seeing this. You make some valid points, though I could refute many of them.
I have read up on the people you've suggested, if I am going to believe what I believe, I want to be educated and well-rounded.
And actually, if you do some checking into the validity of the Bible, and it's accuracy, I think you'll find that it IS in fact very reliable. But I don't want to get into this on here, I really don't.
