NFL Sunday Ticket in HD Question.

Just wondering if any of you Rubes that live out of state, as I do, Know if the Vikes games are in HD or Do you also have to purchase the super fan package to get them in HD. I've had the Sunday Ticket for a few years now, But this year bought a HD TV to watch the vikes. Anyone know.   Thanks

They make you buy the Superfan package.

The first week of the season is free.

I heard nearly every game will be in HD, did'nt say anything about buying the superfan package, could be wrong but I hope not. I pay enough, Superfan should be included for what you pay. It's bull$hit!Vikings

Just looked it up. you do need superfan, it's another 100 bucks. we'll probably end up getting it but it's ridiculous.Thumbs-Down

It's just my opinion, but I'm right!

I hear ya.  Then again I bought the HD TV mainly for when I watch the Vikes so I guess I'll pay what I have to. Should be a good year. Skol

Do what I have done. After week 2 call up and complain that you thought you would get all the games in HD. Then threaten to cancel. They will give it to you for free. It has worked for me for the last three years.

My luck thats what would happen.  The pathetic thing is if you live there and have HD you dont pay extra for fox HD out of the Twin Cities but somehow they can make you pay for fox out of the Twin Cities through Sunday Ticket. But Direct TV is the only provider of Sunday Ticket so they get away with it.

its a hundred extra bux but then your game is guaranteed in HD.  2 years ago there were a couple games not in HD but last year i got them all in HD.  plus i use the redzone HD channel when the vikes arent on.

the baseball extra innings package is an extra hundred but that one is REALLY worth it.

I think getting all the games in HD will be worth the 100 bucks extra. I've heard about the red zone channel. Sounds pretty good  also.

Re: NFL Sunday Ticket in HD Question.

Last year I didnt get the superfan package and I would say 80% of the games were in HD.  Usually it was a Bengals game that wasn't in HD for some reason.  All the Vikings games were in HD for me.
