Cheap and promising Right Handed Hitter ideas for the Twins.

We might be able to get Matt Murton from the Cubs for a bag of baseballs, a pack of gum, and Boof Bonser or even less.

He is a promising outfielder who can hit with some pop and would cost us considerably less than someone like Xavier Nady.

    What do y'all think?

Unless he can play the hot corner there's no room for anyone else on this team, especially an OF, unless we're trading Cuddy or Span for Holliday of course.

Scratch Murton, I forgot somehow we have a glutony of outfielders here too.

I like Murton. but for the Twins NO.

Dallas McPherson is the answer.  Cuddy for McPherson

I wish the twins would go after Brian roberts, move Casilla to short, Harrisand Buscher can platoon at 3b, punto can go back to his normal role of super utility infielder, and then it would make sense to move Gomez down to the nine hole

Cuddyer is not even off the D.L. yet and people are already screaming for another RH stick.

Have you forgotten that Monroe is a RH stick with pop?  Maybe him faultering on his lone AB lastnight has forced ye to abandon all hope who let Monroe hit

Yeah, we should have Hardy and Uggla at SS and 2b... Pujollies as our RH D.H. and Matt Holliday as a pinch hitter off the bench in the 8th or 9th.  Would that appease your hunger for a RH hitter?

I have been trying to hold my tongue, but I can't anymore, Cuddy for McPhereson???  How in the hell does that make any sense?  Cuddy would be the highest paid player on the Marlins, and the least talented, hell, he might be 1/2 their payroll.  This doesn't make the least bit of sense.  It's like saying we could trade Cuddy for Holliday.  You guys definately got some homer in you!

Talent wise your not off base, but you have to consider exactly who it is you'd be trading with in this situation.  Cuddy might even be better than Dallas, but it would not work.

LOL, I love these trade ideas, their fun atleast, and they make me chuckle.
