WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE MIKE JAMES MOMENT? --- This one's easy. Had to be his first radio interview, with Hartman, when James basically made it sound as if a combination of Jason Kidd, Magic Johnson and Steve Nash was coming to Minnesota to rescue Kevin Garnett. From a journeyman guy who had basically had one good season, the bombast was as pathetic as it was stunning.

"What do I do bad?'' James asked. Well, Mike, you're bad at running an offense, your defense is mediocre, you don't make teammates better and your shooting is streaky. Other than that, you do nothing bad at all.

Don't blame James so much as the Ostrich & Co., for overrating, and overpaying for, yet another Bill Duffy player, who had inflated numbers on a 27-55 team. You'll notice that the Raptors were so devastated by the loss of James that they won an extra 20 games.

Blame Wolves coaches, and even Kevin Garnett, from not accepting that if you are going to bring in James, you have to let him dominate the ball and score. Otherwise, it's a waste of time signing him.

In Houston, the Rockets will have to convince him to be what he is: a backup player. Juwan Howard is strictly a complementary player now, but at least he's a forward, which helps to better balance the roster, he's a good chemistry guy and he has one less year on his contract.

It was a solid move.

A move they had to make.

This team had no clue how to rebound the ball and they dumped a guy who clearly was not happy here after losing his starting job.

Juwan Howard will give you a quality effort every night.

Hard to complain about this one.

I wasn't aware there were any other moments than the "What do I do bad?" moment.

It all started and ended with that one!

For me this move just shows how messed up the Woofies are and why McHale needs to go.

Sure they unloaded a journeyman who they overpaid.  But they picked up a higher contract (6.2M) per year, even though it is shorter.  Howard is in decline.

This team goes nowhere without a complete overhaul.  Continued mediocrity does not get the job done.

Granted James was deadwood, but the problems are far deeper than their 50 point guards.

Who thought the Woofies could even make a move that made sense? Not I.

I can't complain about it either.

A very nice start to what needs to be a busy off-season.

Exactly.  It's a "very nice start" to other moves they should be making, but let's keep this in mind: Not too many teams are going to be willing to reacquire our trash for us.  So, Houston has a Mike James fetish, great for us.  But I don't think the Clippers are going to reacquire Marko Jaric, and nobody in their right mind is going to want T-Hud.  If nothing else, Juwan Howard gives you another big body down low to throw in there and foul people.  And, with his one year less on the contract, he increases your trading flexibility if KG bolts after next season, and we're looking to trade for a higher priced superstar.

This was a great trade.  We got depth at the F position and we open up Foye as our number one guy without any distraction.  I say we start Garnett as SF and put Juwan at PF and draft Noah to rotate with him.

Playoffs again... just by adding Juwon Howard? Laughable.

I cant wait for the Marko Jaric's greatest moments... the only thing that guy did to get a sniff of a highlight was get slapped in the face by Kobe Bryant.

I wish Kobe Bryant could slap all the Pirhana's in their faces.

Playoffs again?  Did the T-wolves get moved to the Eastern conference without me knowing?  The best thing about this trade was the one less year of committed salary.  That's it.

Trade KG, don't trade him, you won't see the Wolves in the playoffs for a long time.

The Spurs win the title for times in 9 years, the Wolves had a one-year window of opportunity. There ain't nothing they can trade/do to return to glory any time soon.

Please lay off the drugs before you hurt yourself.

Howard is not the answer.  If he was, it would have cost us more than the trash we gave them. The wolves were not one or two wins from the playoffs. Howard will be long gone before this slop makes it to the playoffs.

My favorite Mike James moment repeated itself throughout his illustrious season with the Wolves.   It was when he would transparently say 'all the right things' after a loss or questionable performance on the court.  He did it with a disgusting, obviously transparent smirk on his face and it nauseated me immeasurably.

Kobe Bryant does it often as well but in a smooth, convincing fashion.  (if you didn't know better)   Kobe is a good liar, James is a horrible one.  He's also a cancerous garbage player and a disgrace to the NBA.

Calling Mike James a clown would be too insulting to Bozo so I will refrain.

I'd like to see a 'dog blog' at some point so I can hammer away on this beloved species of society.

I'm not a big dog guy and I have some stuff to get off my chest, like when they wake me up in the middle of the night with their maniacal barking and when they attempt to intimidate me while I'm jogging.

They also shamelessly defecate on my immaculate lawn.

This is just the tip of the iceberg.

Kandi,
Lay off dogs bro... I am a huge dog lover... not all that a dog does is because he or she is a dog. What you should hammer away on are the idiot owners or masters of said dog. The owner or the master allows the dog to bark at night and allows the dog to crap on your lawn, dogs do as they are allowed to do. Something tells me that you are intimidated by your own shadow, that which a dog or lack there of can not help you.
